Stronger, Bolder, Bigger: CCC in Bangkok
A celebration of connection, collaboration, and Cold Chain excellence.

This May, Bangkok played host to one of the most dynamic gatherings in the logistics industry—the 5th Annual Cold Chain Connect (CCC) Partnership Meeting. Held in conjunction with Life Logistics Network, Global Aircargo Alliance, and G7N, this year’s event brought together over 400 freight professionals from all corners of the globe, turning the heart of Thailand into a global hub of ideas, partnerships, and warm camaraderie.

More than just a meeting, the event was a celebration of how far the network has come and the powerful potential of what lies ahead. From the moment the first handshake was exchanged to the last toast on the final night, the energy was palpable—every conversation a step toward new partnerships, every smile a reminder of our shared commitment to moving perishables with care and speed.

As familiar faces reunited and new connections sparked, the atmosphere was rich with stories, laughter, and plans for the future. This wasn’t just another conference; it was an experience that stayed with everyone long after the closing session—etched into memories, captured in snapshots, and sealed in newly signed deals.

SWINGING INTO ACTION
CCC Tees Off with a Fellowship Golf Game

Before the conference even began, delegates stepped onto the green for a thrilling tee-off that set the tone for the days to come. #CCCinBangkok officially began with a fellowship golf game, welcoming participants from Cold Chain Connect, Life Logistics Network, Global Aircargo Alliance, and G7N. One standout from the CCC side was Kennie Sang, Managing Director of Rapid Freight Logistics (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, who brought his A-game and winning spirit to the fairway. Amid the swings and friendly competition, the event offered delegates a perfect setting to connect beyond boardrooms—where deals began with laughs, and camaraderie was forged one hole at a time. With good weather, great company, and just the right dose of competition, the golf game proved once again that in CCC, partnerships are built not only in meetings, but in moments of genuine connection.

It was a moment of reconnection—where longtime partners reunited and new faces were warmly welcomed into the fold, setting the perfect stage for the days ahead.

A TOAST TO GLOBAL FRIENDSHIPS

The evening of May 2nd marked the official kick-off of the CCC 5th Annual Partnership Meeting with a dazzling Welcome Cocktail Reception held poolside at the Shangri-La Wing. With a "United Nations" theme, delegates arrived proudly dressed in their national attire, transforming the venue into a colorful celebration of global culture and unity.

Laughter echoed over the clinking of glasses as familiar faces reunited and new introductions sparked across the night. The cocktail reception was more than a social gathering—it was the first taste of the vibrant energy that would carry through the rest of the conference, setting the tone for meaningful conversations, strengthened partnerships, and shared goals. Under the Bangkok sky, CCC’s global family gathered—not just as logistics professionals, but as friends from around the world.

STUNNING CONFERENCE OPENING
Insight, Inspiration, and Recognition at the Morning Plenary

The morning plenary on Day 2 set the stage for an energizing start to the CCC 5th Annual Partnership Meeting. Taking center stage was Nils Walle, Director & Co-founder of RWSolutions (Cold Chain Connect), who welcomed the crowd with a powerful presentation on the network’s latest updates and milestones. With sincere appreciation, he also acknowledged the unwavering support of the event’s sponsors—an integral part of bringing this grand gathering to life.

Following his remarks was a CCC favorite—the Newbie Open Mic—where new members had the spotlight to introduce themselves and their companies. This moment not only gave a face to fresh names in the network but also opened the door for countless new conversations and potential partnerships throughout the week.

Celebrating long-term commitment to the CCC community, we proudly presented the Loyalty Awards to members who have remained dedicated to the network over the years. Receiving the prestigious 5-Year Loyalty Award was Gherardo Federici, Line Division Manager and Member of the Board from Iscotrans SPA in Italy, whose steadfast presence and support have been instrumental in the network's growth.

We also recognized our 3-Year Loyalty Awardees, including Antony Correya, Director of Operations at Octagon Freight Services LLC in Iraq; Vania Saraiva, Sales Executive of NVOxpress in Portugal; Kerry Borg, Director of Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics Ltd in the United Kingdom; and Anthony Sawyerr, Director of Aerona (Air & Sea) Customs Clearing Agents Limited, also based in the United Kingdom. Their continued participation and engagement serve as a testament to the enduring value of partnership within CCC.

The session then shifted gears as we welcomed our Diamond Sponsor, Share Logistics (Netherlands), to the stage. Mike Jauregui delivered an eye-opening presentation, introducing the audience to their latest innovative solutions and showcasing the company's strong commitment to excellence in freight forwarding.

One of the most talked-about moments of the plenary was the panel discussion featuring cross-network perspectives from CCC, GAA, and Life Logistics Network, centered on the timely theme: “The Art of Partnership: How to Build and Maintain a Strong Agent Relationship.” The discussion was expertly moderated by Melvin Xavier, Director and Co-Founder of CCC, and featured insightful contributions from seasoned representatives, including Tiffany Lu, Director Overseas of Cargo Movers GmbH, who shared valuable insights drawn from her real-world experience. The session sparked meaningful reflection on how strong partnerships are nurtured—rooted in trust, communication, and aligned goals.

Adding a fresh and modern touch to the program, Jeremiah Su, Founder and Chief Cheerleader of The Beyond, delivered a captivating keynote presentation titled “Building a LinkedIn Presence That Doesn’t Suck.” With a mix of humor, authenticity, and actionable advice, Jeremiah energized the room with tips on how to stand out in the digital space while staying true to your personal brand.

As the session came to a close, the atmosphere was a blend of excitement and motivation—a perfect launchpad for the business meetings and bonding that would follow. With minds inspired, connections sparked, and a vibrant group photo to capture the moment, the CCC 5th Annual Partnership Meeting was truly off to a powerful start.

Meeting Minds, Moving Cargo
Real conversations. Real connections. The core of CCC—where global freight partnerships begin

The face-to-face meetings stood at the heart of the CCC 5th Annual Partnership Meeting. Across the event days, delegates sat down with specialized freight partners from around the world, exchanging ideas, exploring possibilities, and laying the groundwork for future collaboration.

Each session was more than just a scheduled chat. It was a focused opportunity to build trust, create new trade lanes, and strengthen existing relationships. The room was filled with energy and intent, as members turned introductions into opportunities and conversations into action.

This is where the true value of CCC comes to life—bringing the right people together in one place to spark partnerships that move the industry forward.

Sunset Cruise on the Chao Phraya River
White and gold elegance on Bangkok’s most iconic waterway

To end the day on a high note, delegates set sail on a stunning sunset cruise along the Chao Phraya River—dressed in elegant white and gold for an evening that blended style with connection. The gentle sway of the boat, the sparkling city lights, and the warm breeze created a perfect backdrop for relaxed conversations and renewed friendships.

It was a night where the energy of the event met the beauty of Bangkok, reminding everyone that in CCC, meaningful moments happen both on and off the meeting floor.

Celebrating Excellence Across Borders
Recognizing outstanding partners who go the extra mile

One of the highlights of the CCC 5th Annual Partnership Meeting was the CCC Awards Ceremony—an opportunity to honor members who stood out in their regions as trusted and valued partners.

This year, Cargo Movers GmbH from Germany, represented by Tiffany Lu, was recognized as Best Partner in Europe. Golden Cargo Services LLC from the United Arab Emirates, with Xavier George accepting, received the Best Partner in Middle East & Africa award. In the Americas, Costa Rica Planet Shipping S.A. from Costa Rica, represented by Keilor Quiros, was awarded Best Partner in America.

Cheers to New Connections
One final toast to a week that moved more than just cargo

As the CCC 5th Annual Partnership Meeting came to a close, delegates gathered for one last round of conversations during the afternoon Happy Hour—an easygoing send-off filled with free-flow drinks, light moments, and the kind of laughter that only comes after shared success.

What began as a series of handshakes and introductions had transformed into genuine connections, promising partnerships, and a renewed sense of community across the network. It wasn’t just about business—it was about being part of something greater: a global community moving in sync.

And as the final toasts were made, one thing was certain—this isn’t goodbye, just the start of the next chapter.
